Return to telework or a simple reminder of barrier gestures between employees on the sites? With the acceleration in the number of Covid-19 cases, coupled with the arrival of the new Omicron variant, feverishness is spreading to the world of work.

Should the State force companies to telework? At this time, “We are not going to set an obligation, but I invite employers to [le] to favor “, recalled, Friday November 26 on Franceinfo, the Minister of Labor, Elisabeth Borne.

She heard the pleas of Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, the president of the Mouvement des entreprises de France (Medef), who assured, on November 23 on BFM-TV-RMC: ?Business leaders must re-mobilize on teleworking, but no obligation. “” We must let the dialogue of proximity take place “, he said, recalling that many companies already had teleworking agreements and that following the Belgian example of compulsory remote work four days out of five would be ” a mistake “.

The president of the Syntec federation, Laurent Giovachini, which brings together a million jobs in digital, engineering or consulting, also believes that to counter the fifth wave, “At the current stage, we do not need ukase on teleworking”.

Unlike large companies, smaller companies are ready to support increased teleworking where possible. ?In small businesses, it was with the Covid-19 that we discovered teleworking. We lived it in pain, we were not trained, we had difficulties in accessing software, we encountered illiteracy and many staff were overworking for lack of adequate housing to telework. But teleworking saved us. We are going to play the game “, assures Bernard Cohen-Hadad, president of the Confederation of small and medium-sized enterprises Paris-Ile-de-France.

“Counter-foot”

The leader of the employers’ organization thinks that ?In activities compatible with remote work, companies will increase to three or four days a week. But it will depend on the ability to supply orders in this period of tight flow that is the end of the year ?. All administrative functions – orders, invoicing, payroll management – are concerned. As for tasks incompatible with remote work, companies organize the division of teams so that they do not intersect, or as little as possible.

“We also ask companies to spread the arrival times of employees, depending on the business, between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., as they had already done in June 2020, to prevent everyone from ending up in transport at the same time “, adds Cohen-Hadad. With the arrival of the fifth wave, “What we fear the most is the return of gauges, curfews, even confinement, which cause an immediate drop in turnover and the departure of part of the purchases towards the sale from a distance “.

The cloning of Postepay or credit card can take place both online or at the ATM. In both cases, a criminal manages to create a real duplicate of the card and steal money as if it were his own.

But how do we know if our card has been cloned? Let’s see it together.

This time should be the right one. The Swedish parliament is due to vote again, Monday, November 29, for the appointment of Magdalena Andersson as the new prime minister, after her chaotic resignation last week.

Until now Minister of Finance, the leader of the Social Democrats had been elected on Wednesday morning as the first woman prime minister of the Nordic country, but had to resign seven hours later at the end of a nightmarish day marked by a defeat on her budget , followed by the departure of government environmentalists. A situation that the President of the Parliament Andreas Norlén has also said ” to regret “ the day after that day.

After having again polled the party leaders, the president of the Riksdag, the only chamber of the Swedish parliament, concluded Thursday that their intentions were unchanged regarding the election of the future prime minister. The three parties that made it possible for him to come to power have in fact let it be known that they would allow his election again. He will therefore once again submit Magdalena Andersson to a vote in Parliament, scheduled from 1 p.m. local.

Barring a last-minute surprise, this 54-year-old economist should be made head of government for good this time, succeeding the resigning Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.

Political domino game

Although elected for a few hours to this post with only one marginal vote before finally having to resign, she had not officially taken office. This traditionally comes after the presentation of the government to the king, who should normally have taken place on Friday.

Elected after several days of delicate negotiations, Magdalena Andersson was the victim of a painful game of political domino. If it had secured in extremis the support necessary to come to power, thanks to an agreement with the Left Party to increase small pensions, the Center Party, unhappy with the concessions made to the left wing, withdrew its support for the budget, without blocking its rise to power.

Consequence: the same Parliament which elected her in the morning put her budget in a minority in the afternoon and adopted that of the right-wing opposition, prepared for the first time with the extreme right of the Democrats of Sweden (SD). In the process, his environmental ally, the only other party in the minority government coalition, slammed the door, deeming it unacceptable to govern with a budget bearing the seal of the far right. This decision then forced Mme Andersson to return his barely acquired apron.

An unprecedented scenario

?There is a constitutional practice whereby a coalition government resigns when a party leaves it. I do not want to lead a government whose legitimacy is questioned ?, she explained at a press conference.

Although used to the complexities of its parliamentarism, the Nordic country had never experienced such a scenario. The succession to the head of Sweden comes less than a year from the legislative elections of September 2022, which promise to be tight.

Magdalena Andersson will have to convince voters by then. With around 25% in the polls, the Social Democratic Party retains its rank as the leading political formation in Sweden, but is close to its historic lows. He will have to counter his great rival, the conservative Moderates party, in a new configuration. The latter has moved closer to the far right Swedish Democrats and is now ready to govern with his support in Parliament.

SpaceX and NASA are going for another mission with the Dragon bringing cargo towards the ISS, focusing on a resupply mission that would replenish the needs and requirements of those staying in orbit. The resupply mission would happen by Tuesday, December 21, a date that is nearing the most festive holiday here on Earth.

The Cargo Dragon known for its reusability is SpaceX’s spacecraft for this mission, bringing the needs of the astronauts staying at the space station to further their work done above the clouds. The resupply mission is set to come from Launch Complex 39A from the Kennedy Space Center, from the launch station of Florida.

NASA’s Cargo is a Cancer Cure that Needs Studying

Associate Administrator of the Space Operations Mission Directorate Kathy Lueders said that the cargo that SpaceX’s Dragon would bring is to focus on a cancer drug that has the potential of helping clear from the disease. The study would be done by medical scientists in the Space Station, bringing the advancement of modern medicine soon.

SpaceX and NASA’s Missions

SpaceX and NASA are known to be partners in the so-called “Commercial Crew” flights which also has its partnership with Boeing and its Starliner platform that has not yet flown its first flight. There have been three flights for SpaceX under NASA’s missions, but Boeing still has yet to test its Starliner and its engines and thruster that malfunctions.

SpaceX’s Crew-3 has recently arrived in the space station after a series of delays that has prolonged its initial launch that was supposedly on Halloween. Nevertheless, this mission of SpaceX would bring them the tools they need and other supplies that would complete their experience in space, especially as they are set for a job to accomplish.

NASA has appointed SpaceX as an agency that it can hire for projects and the company can surely deliver on their end as it has done a lot of missions with the space agency even outside the Commercial Crew. The popularity and reliability of SpaceX have been its top driver to the missions it has now, being one of the most active private companies in the space race.

BRUSSELS LETTER

France is not disarming. While English has imposed itself on all levels of European institutions, both orally and in writing, Emmanuel Macron, like many of his predecessors at the Elysee Palace, continues to fight for the language of Molière do not disappear from community forums.

A few weeks before the French presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU), in the first half of 2022, the government is preparing a new offensive. In a press release dated October 22, published after the submission of a report on “Linguistic diversity and the French language in Europe”, the Secretary of State for European Affairs, Clément Beaune, and his French-speaking counterpart, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, have announced “A multi-year action plan” to promote multilingualism in Brussels.

There is something quixotic in this fight, so lost it seems. “The place of the English language within European institutions has become preponderant, even hegemonic”, write the authors of the report, who worked under the direction of Christian Lequesne, professor of political science at Sciences Po Paris. A few figures allow us to measure the extent to which the 23 other official languages ??of the EU have in fact almost disappeared from the community landscape. And French, even if it resists better than the others, is no exception.

Thus, at the Commission, where the draft directives are prepared, in 2019, “3.7% of documents sent for translation had French as the source language, against 85.5% for English”, notes the report. Twenty years earlier, 34% of them were written in French before being translated. In the Council (which represents the Member States), it is even worse: in 2018, 95% of the writings were first in English, 2% in French … The European Parliament has resisted better but the decline does not seem no less inexorable. In 2019, only 11.7% of documents were written in French.

“Victor Hugo would be very disappointed”

In this landscape so far from Francophile, the Court of Justice of the EU is an exception: there is only one language of deliberation, and that is French. Debates are held regularly to know if it would be advisable to introduce another which would be English, but until now Paris has kept the exclusivity. This does not go without posing very concrete problems for the Luxembourg Court: as the report by Christian Lequesne points out, this situation gives rise to ?A difficulty in recruiting. The pool of judges and collaborators (in particular referendaries) is mechanically reduced due to the need to recruit people who already have a very good level of French ?.

Oh, Mandy. Debuting with the single ?Candy? at the age of 15, Mandy Moore was the youngest ? and sweetest ? star of 1999?s teen popstar cohort. She?s also one of the few 2000s pop acts to transition successfully and, seemingly, effortlessly to the realm of the big (and small) screen. In 2002, the singer shed her bubblegum pop image for her role in the iconic and formative romance A Walk To Remember. Since, she went on to star in satirical indie Saved!, underrated coming-of-age flick How to Deal and, most prominently, in long-running TV drama This Is Us. At the turn-of-the-millennium, Mandy?s style vacillated between pop effervescence (fuschia pink and sequins) and soft minimalism (fitted suits and slip dresses) while even dabbling in proto-boho chic ? all while maintaining her singular bubbly aura. Here, we take a look back at some of Mandy?s most iconic outfits from the Y2K era.

?Candy? music video, 1999

In 1999,  Mandy burst onto the music charts with the Top 50 single ?Candy.? Throughout the majority of the song?s music video ? which received massive airplay on MTV?s TRL ? the singer sports a red tank, cargo pants and sneaks. The clip?s most memorable fit, however, appears only for a few split seconds, at its beginning, as the singer rotates through possible ?going out? looks in her bedroom. The presumably rejected yet perfectly Y2K outfit consists of a layered tank situation, satin maxi skirt, walkman-as-techcessory and the era?s ubiquitous spiky bun.

Along with Britney, Christina and Jessica, Mandy ushered in Y2K?s teen pop revival. Debuting at only 15 years old ? the youngest of the four ? Mandy?s musical and sartorial stylings were the sweetest and most youthful of her pop cohort. Here, at the 1999 Billboard Music Awards, not even a month after the release of ?Candy?, Mandy wears an ultra saccharine look: fuzzy fuschia tank, lime green organza skirt and matching pink pedi.

Does it get any more Y2K than holding an album launch party at HMV? The only thing more turn-of-the-millennium than the venue was Mandy?s outfit: a beaded halter top and a low-rise denim skirt with a handkerchief hem.

In 2002, Mandy shed her bubblegum pop star image in pursuit of more folk-leaning music and a career in acting. One year after dabbling in cinema with smaller roles in Dr. Dolittle 2 and The Princess Diaries, Mandy took a starring role in romantic tear-jerker A Walk to Remember.  Among other things, the newly-minted actress marked this career transition by dying her hair from platinum blonde to dark brown ? and then lobbing it into the era?s ubiquitous pixie. Here, to scoop two A Walk To Remember awards at the Teen Choice Awards, Mandy sports her freshly cut ?do with a more sophisticated, boho-leaning look: the 00s tank-and-slip skirt combo.

To the year?s Billboard Music Awards ? two months after the launch of Coverage? the singer wore a sequinned halter dress that called back to her ?Candy? era. LEON VS. PUEBLA: MINUTE BY MINUTE

In the first leg, Puebla made respect for the house and gave the surprise by beating the ‘Fiera’ 2-1. Pablo Parra and Maximiliano Araujo scored for the ‘Strip’, while Stiven Barreiro scored for the visit.

Puebla’s triumph means a great advantage to face the return match. The team led by Nicolás Larcamón reaches a draw to advance to the round, but it should not be trusted.

In the previous one, the president of Puebla, Manuel Jiménez, expressed his total confidence in Larcamón’s work and filled him with praise.

“He is a technician very studious, very intelligent, who reads games very well, of course with his coaching staff. We like their way of being and working. It brings me working 24 hours a day; there are times when he calls me until dawn to ask me some questions and I like that because I see that he puts passion into his work “, he indicated, according to the newspaper Récord.

On the other hand, despite the defeat, Ariel Holan, León’s Argentine coach, maintained his composure and his desire for his squad to play vertically and offensively, in the style of Manchester City or the Spanish national team.

“I do not think we will take a mental blow, if we win we pass, it depends on us. We have to insist on our discipline of play and there cement our football to seek victory, I am convinced that the return will be totally different “Holan commented.

León is obliged to win to qualify, even if it is 1-0. Let us remember that the ‘Panzas Verdes’, if they equalize on the global scoreboard, would benefit as they were better located than Puebla in the regular phase.

León is obliged to win to qualify, even if it is 1-0. Let us remember that the ‘Panzas Verdes’, if they equalize on the global scoreboard, would benefit as they were better located than Puebla in the regular phase.

After the 3-0 win against Serbia at the start on Friday, Austria also lost the second international match in Pool F 2-1 and was eliminated as the bottom of the group. Marach / Oswald had to bend Kevin Krawietz / Tim Pütz 3: 6 4: 6, which meant the last appearance of the soon-to-be-retired Styrian Marach in the Davis Cup team ended in a defeat.

?We knew it would be a much more difficult task than the first. Of course I’m a bit disappointed with the first lap, so I expected that we would get the point, ?said the now 41-year-old Marach. Against the Germans you knew that you had to play top tennis.

Before that, Rodionov had defeated Koepfer 6: 1 7: 5 after a strong performance, Novak was defeated by Jan-Lennard Struff with 5: 7 4: 6. The ÖTV team would have had to defeat the Germans 3-0 to have a quarter-final chance. The Germans are group winners in Pool F and will play against Great Britain on Tuesday (4 p.m.) in Innsbruck to make it to the semi-finals in Madrid. Only the six group winners in Innsbruck, Turin and Madrid and the two group runners-up with the highest points made it into the quarter-finals.

Novak is behind from the start

Novak had to run after a deficit from the start in the fight between the two top players in the absence of Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev. He gave up his service right away, but managed the rebreak at 4: 5 to make it 5: 5. Another loss of service to 5: 6 decided set one in favor of the guests. As a result, Struff could not be denied victory, a break to 2: 1 set the course for it. The second individual was over after 73 minutes.

In retrospect, Novak was annoyed about missed opportunities and wrong decisions

?Of course I’m disappointed, I lost a Davis Cup match for Austria. I think there would have been more inside today. It wasn’t a good match for me, and not a bad one either, ?Novak summed up in relation to the APA. ?I started with a bad service game, then came in better and better and then played a good return game. At 5: 5 in the game there were one or two bad decisions with the two stop balls, but against such a strong server like Struffi it is difficult. “

Rodionov surprised at the beginning

In the first single, Rodionov had put the hosts in the lead after a very strong performance. The 22-year-old from Lower Austria defeated the higher-rated Koepfer 6: 1 7: 5 after 85 minutes in the Olympiaworld, which was empty due to the coronavirus. “It’s a great feeling, I’m close to tears,” said Rodionov on the pitch about one of his most important victories so far. ?The only thing that is a shame is that we couldn’t play in front of the fans at home. That’s a big minus. It would have been ten times better with the fans, ?said the Lower Austrian about the fans of the ÖTV team who were not absent.

Rodionov found out on Friday evening after the defeat against Serbia that he would almost certainly be used on Sunday. ?So I was able to watch Dominik against Krajinovic yesterday. I already knew how to play against him. I’ve played him twice before, ?said Rodionov. The course of the game even looked like a very smooth two-set win when Rodionov had set one in his pocket after 26 minutes and was already leading 4: 2 in the second.

“In the end I was the happier”

?The tank was completely empty at 4-2 in the second, even without fans. You play Davis Cup for Austria and there are a lot of thoughts going through your head that you can’t control. In the end I was the happier, ?said Rodionov. The Austrian, in the ranking as 139th clearly behind Koepfer (54th), fell behind 4: 2 with 4: 5 and even had to fend off two set balls. He made the break to 6: 5 and then the two-set win. For Rodionov it was the first victory for Austria in his fourth Davis Cup single. Against Koepfer it was even his third victory in the third duel for Rodionov, including beating the Germans in three sets this year in the first round of Stuttgart on grass.
